Document Purpose
These Community Guidelines establish standards for respectful, constructive, and safe interaction within the NaijaAssets community. They apply to all Users participating in community features, discussion forums, comments, live classes, and any other interactive areas of the Platform.

1. Community Principles
NaijaAssets exists to make high-quality education affordable, engaging, and accessible. Our community reflects this mission. All community members are expected to contribute to a positive learning environment by being respectful, constructive, and inclusive.
The Platform must never discriminate based on nationality, religion, gender, race, ethnicity, disability, language, or country, unless required by law or licensing restrictions.
2. Expected Behavior
We expect all community members to:
- Treat others with courtesy, dignity, and respect
- Contribute constructively to discussions and learning
- Provide accurate information and correct errors when identified
- Respect differences in opinion, background, and learning pace
- Protect the privacy of other community members
- Use clear and appropriate language suitable for an educational environment
- Follow the instructions of moderators, administrators, and Teachers
3. Prohibited Behavior
The following behaviors are prohibited in the NaijaAssets community:
3.1 Harassment and Abuse
- Harassing, bullying, threatening, or intimidating any person
- Stalking, doxxing, or publicly sharing another person's private information
- Sending unwanted, inappropriate, or offensive communications
- Targeting individuals with repeated negative attention
3.2 Hateful Conduct
- Promoting or expressing hatred, bigotry, racism, sexism, or discrimination
- Using slurs, epithets, or derogatory language
- Denigrating individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
- Promoting hate groups, violent ideologies, or extremist content
3.3 Disruptive Behavior
- Spamming, flooding, or disrupting community spaces
- Posting irrelevant, off-topic, or excessive content
- Trolling, baiting, or intentionally provoking negative reactions
- Interrupting live classes or educational sessions
3.4 Impersonation
- Impersonating NaijaAssets staff, Teachers, moderators, or other users
- Creating accounts that mimic or deceive others
- Misrepresenting your credentials, qualifications, or affiliations
3.5 Inappropriate Content
- Sharing sexually explicit, obscene, or pornographic content
- Sharing violent, gory, or disturbing content
- Sharing content that exploits or endangers minors
- Sharing content that violates any applicable law
4. Content Standards
4.1 Educational Focus
Content shared in community spaces should primarily relate to education, learning, and the subjects offered on the Platform. Off-topic content may be removed at our discretion.
4.2 Accuracy
You should make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information you share. If you are unsure about something, you should clearly indicate that it is your opinion or understanding rather than established fact.
4.3 Originality
Do not plagiarize. When sharing others' work, provide appropriate attribution and ensure you have the right to share it.
5. AI Interaction Standards
5.1 AI as a Tool
AI Features are educational tools. You should use them responsibly, understanding their limitations. AI may generate incorrect or incomplete information.
5.2 Responsible Use
- Do not use AI Features to generate content that violates these Guidelines
- Do not attempt to manipulate AI to circumvent safety measures
- Do not submit personal information of others through AI Features without consent
- Do not represent AI-generated content as your own original work where prohibited by academic standards
6. Moderation
6.1 Moderation Authority
NaijaAssets moderators and administrators have authority to review, edit, remove, or refuse any community content at our sole discretion. We also may use automated moderation tools, including AI-based moderation systems, to detect and address violations.
6.2 Moderation Practices
- We review reported content and may proactively monitor community spaces
- We may issue warnings, remove content, or suspend community access as appropriate
- Moderation decisions are final unless otherwise stated
6.3 Appeals
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may appeal by contacting legal@legal.naijaassets.com. Appeals are reviewed at our discretion.
7. Reporting
7.1 How to Report Violations
To report a violation of these Guidelines, please contact us at legal@legal.naijaassets.com or use any reporting mechanism available on the Platform.
7.2 What to Include
- A description of the violation and why it violates these Guidelines
- The location or account information related to the violation
- Any relevant screenshots, links, or evidence
- Your contact information (optional)
8. Consequences
Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in:
- Removal of content
- Warning or formal notice
- Temporary or permanent suspension of community participation
- Suspension or termination of your account
- Forfeiture of rewards, scholarships, or other benefits
- Reporting to law enforcement where appropriate
The severity of consequences depends on the nature, frequency, and impact of the violation, as determined in our sole discretion.

10. Changes to These Guidelines
